A New Approach to Fusion

Clean. Portable. Scalable.

Transforming Energy for Humanity

Our Approach

At Electric Fusion Systems, Inc., we are pioneering a futuristic and efficient pathway to harnessing fusion energy. Our approach is not only safe but also sustainable, ensuring a greener tomorrow. Our revolutionary technology is so versatile that it offers limitless possibilities, from portable applications like automotive transportation to large-scale industrial and electric utility solutions. As a team of innovators, we’ve developed a direct-to-electricity technology that seamlessly integrates our patent-pending proton-lithium Rydberg matter fusion fuel with a pulsed electrical stimulation breakthrough. This synergy ensures fusion power generation is not only more efficient but also vastly affordable, especially compared to competitive energy alternatives, delivering economic benefits that are 10-100 times more favorable than any other energy source. Join us on our mission, (video too) to this sustainable journey to a brighter, limitless future.

Our Mission

Global Energy Transformation

Electric Fusion Systems, Inc. is developing a compact and portable fusion power generator capable of delivering kilowatts, yet scalable to many megawatts. It is aneutronic fusion, the only fusion energy source that is truly clean, safe, limitless, and environmentally friendly. The implications are profound—transformational reduction in all forms of carbon-based energy generation while mitigating and ultimately enabling reversing global carbon emissions. Our technology has the clear potential to rewire the globe—environmentally, economically, and socially. See a 1 minute video about Electric Fusion Systems technology.

Our Technology

The Innovation

Electric Fusion Systems revolutionary patent pending technology is the marriage of a new form of lithium proton fusion fuel and a switching power supply designed to provide safe electrical power on demand for the grid. The lithium-ammonia-noble gas fuel, along with alpha sources, and pulsed electrical arcing in a magnetic field, establish the conditions for controlled release of fusion energy. The pulsed system oscillates between fusion and fizzle, extracting power through inductive coupling with each pulsed cycle.

Simulations

Recent Simulations

Electric Fusion Systems simulations and theoretical modeling efforts are centered around hiring outside experts in fusion and fusion simulations. Robust, vetted and calibrated software codes and simulations that have been used over decades by outside experts underpin our core fusion science. This is coupled with our internal experimental data that clearly show fusion events via spectrographic evidence and neutron observations.

Fundamentally, our fusion process consists of creating the heavy Rydberg matter bulk liquid fusion fuel condensate via a proprietary process then launching electrical arc’s through the media triggering coulomb explosions that cause fusion reactions to occur putting diamagnetic pressure on the inductive coil windings inducing a current that is rectified into useable electricity. All these steps are supported in the scientific literature with the exception of our novel fusion fuel. Our Concept

Product Development & Strategy

Electric Fusion Systems prototype is a roller-bag sized power plant that uses a lithium-ammonia fuel loaded with 200 megawatt hours of power. Detailed operating economics are driven mostly by life cycle costs (LCOE) and related maintenance.

We plan to design and produce relevant industry prototypes to be used and tuned for specific industries and applications. For example, we plan to build a small 25-50kW power appliance for cars and a larger one for trucks. Or a 2kW that could power a house for a decade, that is vastly cheaper than solar and disrupting the entire utility industry. A bigger fusion power generator could produce 300-500kW for drones and helicopters is possible. However, the ideal application may be larger ~5-megawatt fusion fain electrical substation transformer (power generator) would be ideal for utilities.

Scaling-up is straight forward with the addition of fusion power cartridges given our modular design approaches. Moreover, the simplicity of our efficient and safe (aneutronic) systems does not require large scale products to be economically compelling. Making smaller scale power devices for distributed energy generation on demand, without the issues of intermittencies or capacity limits, is now very possible.

About Us

Who We Are

Members of our team have been working on unique fusion physics challenges both in and out of the nuclear fusion mainstream for many decades.  We are both nuclear theoreticians and practitioners.  We have developed unique and varied experiences, knowledge and data that give us an edge, especially in the realm of new and novel approaches to nuclear fusion energy generation. It is our decades of historical, real-world experience, looking and experimenting in areas where others haven’t, coupled with newer team members and advisors with more traditional fusion experience that enable our winning hand.

Realistically, we are a black swan technology because of our overwhelming cost and scale advantage along with the “out of the box” fusion approach that the mainstream fusion community is unaware of.
